The Poodle Club of Southern California is located in Ventura County. The organization helps poodles, poodle mixes, labradoodles and goldendoodles. The club is a volunteer rescue organization that was established in 1939 and it is one of the oldest affiliates of the Poodle Club of America. For those who are willing to travel to Ventura County to adopt a dog, the Poodle Club will adopt dogs to people living out of the state of California. For out-of-state labradoodle rescue, by plane, you will need an airline approved kennel and a transportation health certificate for your new dog.
The Poodle Club adoption fees for poodles and labradoodles are between $50 and $500, depending on the age of the dog, health and other factors. Your labradoodle rescue from the club will include a microchip, shots, spay/neutering and grooming. If you’re looking to rescue a labradoodle, or goldendoodle in California, visit them online for more information. They don’t have a large selection of labradoodles, but there are available dogs to look at on the site.
